Our area offers a wide range of different hiking tours for all levels. On a hiking tour along the German-Austrian border, for example, you can explore popular huts of the Austrian Alpine Association such as the Mindelheimer hut and the Rappensee hut. Those who prefer a more comfortable and less exhausting ascent can use the Steffisalp-Express chairlift, which takes you up on 1885m above sea level. From there, the Karhorn via ferrata is only a short walk away. This via ferrata was extended in 2009 and its degree of difficulty ranges from B (intermediate) to D (very difficult).
If you are looking for an easier hiking tour, the Wartherhorn is a good choice. From the top station of the Steffisalp-Express chairlift it is only a 45 minutes walk to the summit.
The footpath from the Kalbelesee lake to the Körbersee lake is highly recommendable for families with children, as it is very wide and thus also suitable for buggies. Take a rest in the Körbersee hotel and enjoy the peace and quiet of our region. From there, you can either continue your walk to Bürstegg, an old Walser settlement, or from there to the Steffisalp-Express chairlift or you visit the uf m Tannberg alpine museum, where you can get an insight into the process of producing cheese many years ago.
Furthermore we offer guided hiking tours every week, where skilled and experienced hiking guides show you the most beautiful places of the Tannberg and Arlberg region and give you tips for further hiking tours.
