With an average of 11 metres of snow per year, Warth-Schröcken is Europe’s snowiest ski area and has turned from the former insiders’ tip into the place of choice for all freeriders. Snow guarantee and the ideal terrain with wide slopes and challenging crests and hollows create exceptionally good conditions for all freeriders. Shooting star of the professional freeride scene and local, Alois Bickel, knows about the advantages of his home region. After a short ascend from the top station pure powder pleasure is awaiting you! Wannenkopf or Gamsloch-Karhorn and numerous other options between Salober and Jägeralpe are the ultimate challenge for every freerider.
Klemm via Salober
Starting in the neighbouring ski area of Lech-Zürs, the tour leads us via Mohnenfluh col and Klemm down to the centre of Schröcken.
Bockbach Valley tour
After using the Steffisalp Express and the Wartherhorn chairlift, we ascend to the Wartherhorn col and then further to the Wöster col (in Lech) – a heavenly ride down to Steeg is our reward!
On the path of Pastor Mueller
The very first man who drove from Warth to Lech on off-piste terrain was the pastor of Warth, Johann Müller. Take yourself back in the ski history of the Arlberg, when exploring the historic and wonderful freeride tour from Warth to Lech and back.
The ski schools of Warth-Schröcken offer special freeride classes, called Hike&Ride tours, for four days.
