The Karhorn Via Ferrata is one of the highlights of Warth-Schröcken. In Summer 2009 it was extended by 600 meters thus providing an exciting new challenge for experienced and enthusiastic climbers!
The Karhorn East Ridge Via Ferrata leads up to the summit gradually between level B and C and is a great introduction for anyone who has always wanted to climb a via ferrata. Professional equipment is recommended for this section.
From the summit advanced climbers can enjoy the newly created Karhorn West Ridge Via Ferrata
This part of the Via Ferrata is between level C and D so climbing experience is absolutely necessary and is not recommended for people who suffer from vertigo. On reaching the summit, you will be rewarded with the most incredible breathtaking views of the surrounding peaks and valleys.
