Rock climbing for all abilities, climbing walls and the “Via Feratta” Karhon recently extended by 600 meters, all offer a wide range of opportunities for beginners and professionals alike.
Numerous peaks around Warth-Schröcken offer an exhilerating climbing experience for all abilities. The local Alpine schools give you the opportunity to ascend popular peaks like the “Großer Widderstein” (2.533 metres) and the “Biberkopf” (2.599 metres) under professional guidance!
A highlight is the “Via Ferrata” Karhorn for beginners and the newly built extension of the “Via Ferrata” the “Via Ferrata "Karhorn west ridge”!
Climbing-Park “Schrofenwies”
The newly created climbing-park “Schrofenwies” attracts many climbers. It allows climbing from level IV to VIII. It’s therefore suitable for children and beginners. In the climbing-park you’ll find also a barbecue area where you can sit and relax!
Weekly climbing courses for children
The Alpine School Schröcken holds weekly classes for children to experience their first climbing adventure! Learn about ropes and knots in a fun and friendly atmosphere – a great experience for all the little ones!
