The winter hiking paths offer space and beautiful views. The trails are away from the slopes and pass the frozen alpine lakes of “Kalbelesee” and “Körbersee”.

There is nothing better than being wrapped up on a walk along the snowy winter hiking trails to enjoy the tranquillity of the countryside and relax for a while. The winter hiking trails in Warth-Schröcken are over 20 km long and take you to the most beautiful places on the Hochtannberg, away from the pistes.

From Kalbelsee to picturesque Korbersee
From Saloberjet car park the sunny hiking path goes along the lake to Hotel Korbersee. Then from the hotel you can do a circuit of the frozen lake "Korbersee" and afterwards relax in the hotel. 
Return along the same path to the car park.
Time: 2 hours

From Weltfriedenskreuz to Simmel
From Hotel Jageralpe the path leads up to Hotel Adler, then left up to Simmel.  Past the century old chapel, Simmelkapelle, it continues up again to the Weltfriedenskreuz where you can get a beautiful view of Hochkrumbach.
Return along the same path.
Time: 1 hour

Kabelesee circuit
Path leads from the Saloberjet car park around the frozen Kabelsee along the beautiful Passlandschaft of the Hochtannbergpasses.
Time: 30 Minutes

Warth Forest tour
From Warth village centre, go down to the frozen Seebachsee to the winter path that leads along the edge of the forest. The circuit goes through the Hohenwald with views as far as Lech until you cross the Teschenberg track. There is a beautiful viewpoint here. From here, you can go back to Warth or continue along the path to Teschenberg and back to Warth again along the road.
Time: 1 hour

Gehren Lechleiten
From the centre of Warth follow the main road to Haus Kristall, then turn left onto the footpath as far as Muhlebrucke. 250 meters further along the main road, the path climbs towards Gehren and then on to the footpath to "Lechleiten".  From there you have a breathtaking view of Warth and the ski area. 
Return along the same footpath.
Time: 2-3 hours

From Schrocken through the district "Wald"
From Schrocken/Oberboden there is a small street to "Schwand"  and "Wald" where you can find stunning views of the village.
Return along the same footpath.
Time: 40 minutes

Along the old road in Shrocken
From Nesslegg go past the Hotel Widderstein and Haus Annette along the old road towards the ski pistes.
Return along the same footpath.
Time: 40 minutes
