Guided mountain tour "Rote Wand"

Ibex territory at 2,704m

The Rote Wand is one of the highest summits in the Lechquellengebirge mountains and takes its name from the red Lias limestone located on the southern side. The tour is reserved for experienced mountain climbers as the ascent to the summit on loose shale requires surefootedness and freedom from vertigo. With some luck, you'll also meet ibex here!

From the summit, you can enjoy a wonderful view of Formarinsee and Freiburgerhütte at the feet of the Rote Wand.
